Production (Winter Prologue)

The preproduction of Metamorphosis has successfully been completed and we are now transitioning into production. Over the course of 10 weeks, my team and I will be completing their designated assignments for March 16th's course deadline!
As co-director, I will still be responsible for keeping the team on-track with Metamorphosis's schedule through assigned responsibilities and frequent checkups. With the foundation of the project completed, I can focus more on my FX contributions rather than scheduling- this is thrilling!
Our amazing Extra Help team offered up a generous amount of time to work through our model assets, rigs, and animation. Thanks to their work we're able to start quickly!

I wanted to help give my team the proper equipment they need to start their work, so I requested their input and returned to them with guides! Our production will be fast-paced and challenging at times, so throwing out as many references as possible will help all of us out in the end.

Here is a basic map of the forest terrain for our environment and lighting artists. This will give them a consistent visual aid of the story's progression.
I also helped to create general texture outlines for our texture artist. This will guide the look of our assets as they environment comes along.
